The new mural will appear behind the Co-op to enhance the backspace, which will serve as a future outdoor café. Born and raised in Dominica and an academically trained artist, Gharan brings vibrant colors inspired by his island upbringing to his paintings and sculptures. He’s also deeply connected to the land as a landscaper, vegetable and cocoa grower, and he has long been involved with the Co-op as a member-owner and as a former staff and board member.
